Discussing Food Insecurity, Social Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and Unconventional Fruits with Full Harvest Founder Christine Moseley

On November 4th, 2022, Eli Moraru (right) , The Co-Founder and President of The Community Grocer sat down with Christine Mosely (left) CEO and Founder of Full Harvest.

Christine Moseley is the Founder + CEO of Full Harvest. Currently, at Full Harvest, she is solving the massive food waste problem at the farm level. Full Harvest is the only B2B online marketplace that directly connects food and beverage brands and processors to farms to buy imperfect and surplus produce. 

On November 4th, 2022 she sat down with our Co-Founder Eli Moraru at the Inaugural Social Entrepreneurship Speaker Series at the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton School of Business’s Venture Lab. During their 45 minute talk they discussed paths to mitigate food waste, innovations in technology to address food insecurity, and the importance in today’s society of social driven businesses and nonprofits such as The Community Grocer and Full Harvest.

Following the moderated discussion, TCG Co-Founders Eli Moraru and Alexandre Imbot fielded questions from the audience about The Community Grocer’s Innovative business model and the ways that TCG is reinventing the corner store and reimagining nutritional assistance to make eating well easier for all.
